About Philip
A pharmacist, a landlord, and your mortgage adviser.
I've owned and run a community pharmacy in Cardiff for over 25 years. Along the way I built a portfolio of buy-to-let properties — and found the mortgage process frustrating enough that I went and qualified to do it properly myself.
Since 2015 I've advised as a regulated mortgage and protection specialist with MGI Direct, working with buyers, landlords and business owners across the UK. Because I've signed the personal guarantees, run the payroll and sat through the surveys, the advice you get is practical rather than theoretical.
